Sons of Italy
The Sons of Italy road race is a yearly fundraiser, held on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. This is a 5K run and includes a walk as well. Over the years it has benefitted many charitable organizations currently the theme has been to honor our Armed Services and veterans. we have been for a few years now giving to the Veterans Northeast Outreach Center in Haverhill, Ma., which provides veterans and their families in the greater Merrimack Valley with housing, counseling, advocacy and other services as needed.
John Mele race founder for the sons of italy has been doing the road race for over 25 years.
Marshall McCloskey race coordinator has been at John's side for the past 10 years.
